City Garden Hotel Makati

We were a group of three friends traveling in Asia. Our stay was very pleasant because this hotel exceeded our expectations on various aspects, mainly the staff leaded by DON. The breakfast was very good and JESSA & QUEENY (The Smiling girls) were super attentive and gracious all the time. And the guys: NEIL, JAMES and ROGER did a nice job to improve our delightful meals. The place is very well maintained and so it’s nice atmosphere, only because the staff. The spa, the pool and the gym are other nice facilities we enjoy a lot. In the lobby all staff were very attentive mostly the security guys. So we found a place where Filipino people are well represented in what they are and do their best: simpathy and competence. Surely would come back.

I stay here frequently so that says something. While the location is great and relatively easy to get to from the airport, it's mainly due to the staff. From the guys on the door helping you with your bags and transportation, to the housekeeping crew, they are so friendly. No matter what time of the day, you're always greeted with a good morning/afternoon/night and even when travelling in the elevators! (And my attempts at Tagalog in return are always appreciated : ) After spending time in airports, in transit and after a long flight, it's always a joy to be greeted upon arrival by Kim on reception. On my most recent visit, Kim, Jerwin, Aibe and Lem were exceptional. The rooftop pool and restaurant is an added bonus. As the great, hectic view of Manila unfolds down below, you can have a cold drink and a nice meal. The staff do anything to accommodate your needs. On this trip I had to meet with a work colleague for dinner and Grace made sure a table was reserved and the service was excellent. She's such a professional. Her team of Shaine, Jim, Al, Crizel, Adonis, Robert, Miko and Jeff made the night memorable. I've worked in the customer service industry since I was 16 and these guys at City Garden have nailed it.

FO staff were great assisting us for an early check-in and all the polite Concierge team. Especially, they were helpful finding our Grab driver. We loved the in-room dining service food. We were upgraded by FO during our anniversary, thanks for the sweet gesture. It was our first time staying in this hotel and for sure we will be back!!! Thanks for making our 2 night stay memorable.

I liked that it's very affordable. Also, room interior looks vintage and classic but elegant. It was comfy and cozy. Im glad that they honor my special request. They put us in the penthouse floor overlooking Makati city. It was a nice especially the view at night. I liked that there is also a tub, it was not like the tub in other hotels, it's the standard size of tub but still, it was nice we were able to use it as well. I ordered champorado in the morning for breakfast, it also taste good and price is reasonable. Location is very accessible, restaurants are just walking distance from the hotel.

Comfortable bed and hot shower with good water pressure. The room was lovely and quiet. Appreciated the cold water dispenser on our level. The gym was good. Staff were helpful.
